Bioinformatic Infrastructure for Life Sciences in Sweden (BILS)
A grant application was sent to the swedich research council in April 2008 wich has the aim to construct a national bioinformatic infrastructure. See the notes from the hearing at the research council March 27, 2007 (in swedish). A planning grant was awarded in november 2008 which will be used for a pilot start of the infrastructure, see BILS homepage.
The application is supported by all large bioinformatic research groups in Sweden.
